Freshmen adjust to status as “first”
The freshman of the 09-10 school year are making history even though they may not realize it.
Freshman Matt Thompson, a member of the first freshman class to use this new building says he will miss the Freshman Center when moving on to his sophomore year.
Others such as myself are looking forward to the opportunity to spend the day in the main building because they feel as though they are separated from the actual ”high school”. I look at it as a pre-high school test run.
Many, though not all, sophomores are glad to have gone straight to the main high school rather than going to a new building, then to another. ”I liked it at the junior high because I felt more ready for high school,” said sophomore Amber Cook.
” I was really happy to be at the junior high as a freshman,” said sophomore Morgan Nicoll.
